    • Service History If your vehicle has any service history, please bring this with you as no service history will have an adverse effect on the vehicles value
    • MOT Certificate Only vehicles 3 years and older require a valid MOT. If your vehicle has an MOT certificate, please bring this along. If you don’t have the MOT certificate we can carry out a check online
    • Finance Details If your vehicle has any outstanding finance, then please bring your finance details with a settlement figure, we can help you get the settlement figure if you would prefer

You should also bring in photo identification such as passport or driving license. Identification must be original copies
  • Can I just turn up for an appraisal?

We don't recommend that you just turn up as we might not be able to fit you in and don't want you to have a wasted journey.

Just contact us in advance and we can book a day and time to suit you.

  • How long will my vehicle appraisal take?

Your appraisal will take approximately 15 minutes.

We have free tea and coffee for you while you wait. You are quite welcome to drop your car off with us and come back later. We can contact you when the inspection is complete.

  • My vehicle has outstanding finance, will you still buy it?

Of course we will. We can arrange to settle any outstanding finance, just remember to bring the details with you when you come to see us. Our experts can answer any questions you have about settling your finance and will go through process with you in detail.

  • Do you charge any admin or buying fees?

    Simply put, No

Unlike some other car buyers when we say 100% free we do actually mean 100% free. We don't charge you any admin fees to buy your car, ever

You get 100% of the money we agree on

  • When and how do I receive payment for my car?

When we buy your car, we will make payments directly into your bank. All banks differ but the usual standard transfer is within 3 working days.

The banks do offer a faster payment service on the same or next working day. The price of these services is out of our control and is set by the banks and the charge paid to them will be deducted from the agreed price. Please let us know if you wish or need to use one of the bank faster payment services and we will arrange this for you and give you all the details of bank charges and timescales.

  • What should I do if I'm running late or can't make my appraisal appointment?

We fully understand that the unexpected can occur when we need to be somewhere, so if you think you will be late or unable to make your appointment, simply contact us as soon as you are able to.

We will do our best to fit you in or we can simply reschedule when its next convenient for you.

  • My car has a private registration plates, will you still buy it?

If your car has a private plate then yes we can still buy it.

However, if you want to keep or retain your private plate then you will need to place it on retention via DVLA or assign it to another vehicle. We will happily help with this process.

You will have to pay the current DVLA fee to retain a private plate which is £80.00. This process may delay the transfer of funds in to your bank for the sale of the vehicle until all documents are returned from DVLA.

  • Can you collect my car?

Unfortunately, we do not operate a vehicle collection service but we can arrange for it to be collected by a local firm. There will be a charge for this payable directly to them, we can deduct that charge from the agreed sale price should you wish.

  • Will I get the amount offered to me in the initial valuation?

The initial valuation is based on the details you provided in step 1. When you bring your vehicle to us for the inspection, we do a quick check and if everything is as described then you will receive the full amount we offered.

If our onsite inspection shows or highlights any issues we will fully detail them and discuss them with. You will be welcome to check any of the issues we have brought to your attention.

Everything will be open and honest and remember, there is no obligation to sell your car if the price isn't right and it will not cost you a penny
